الإجراءات

 

 

 







1.      Brainstorming students through the questions of the unit . then Students will be divided into three groups to work out the task for each group  . the first group will do a presentation  using power point of 15 slides at most . the second group will perform a brochure  using the publisher . the third group will perform a web site of three pages using the publisher.


2.      Students will read, take notes, and rewrite the information into their own words creating short paragraphs about the topic.


3.      Students will cite information and give credit for pictures .


 


Multimedia Presentation Procedures:


1.      Students of the first  group present  the  PowerPoint presentation to discuss  the topic.


2.      As a group, they will develop an outline of the presentation that will contain an introduction, middle slides with content, and an appropriate ending.


3.      Pairs of students will create slides containing background colors and designs.


4.      Students will demonstrate their ability to copy and past text and to manipulate graphics and pictures imported from the net sites.


5.      Pairs of students will save slides on floppy disk so they will be available to the computer on which the final slide show will be created.


6.      Selected students, with input from the other students, will insert appropriate transitions between slides and include appropriate animations, again keeping in mind equipment capabilities.


7.      The slides and slide shows will be saved in the appropriate folders.


 


Brochure  Activity Procedures:


1.      Students will use the facts they learned about life in future and computers  to write a non-fictional articles  from the point of view of a reporter.


2.      Each student in the pair will write the appropriate number of articles and save them in the correct folder.  All work should be checked for spelling and grammar.


3.      Students will use a the Microsoft Publisher  program and correct keyboarding skills to type these short paragraphs, complete with headlines.


4.      Students will use a publishing program to layout text boxes and use the mouse to copy and paste text and to manipulate graphics.  Their files will be saved.


5.      The pairs of students will then copy the contents of their files into the publishing document using “copy and paste” to create an attractive brochure .


 


 


 


Web site Development Procedures:


 


1.      The entire group will develop a plan for the Web site to present information about life in future and computers  in a logical way.


2.      Members will work in pairs to sketch their page on the planning sheet provided.


3.      The pairs will then use a Web-publishing program to create their Web page.


4.      Selected students will import the various pages into one file.


5.      The pairs will work together as a larger group to determine appropriate navigational links between pages.


The Web sites will be published on the school’s internal Web server for use by other classes and/or published to the Internet.
